Simas Chomentauskas What about XR Creatively for me, XR is like another continent that was discovered recently You know, all the physical lands are already discovered. But that’s another layer of reality. It’s just becoming a new kind of world to do thing in. It’s really an eco system. Think about why you are getting into that medium. It has huge potential but you really need to use it. It’s not just another form of video or audio, or visual stuff. It’s a different set of rules and you need to learn to play by them. And another thing you need to understand is that it’s extremely potent. It creates very strong and deep emotions in people. And you really need to be ready to ... well to create responsibly. Not, you know, overdo stuff. So, third thing I’d would say is find a team. You are not really going to survive alone in this field. You really need somebody who know the technical side of things and can make your creative visions happen. I think for the production level result you need to have them. But don’t be discouraged by that. For exploration, for understanding the medium, just go by yourself There are emerging, really accessible tools to play with. First to understand the language, to know what you want to say. And only then get serious. It’s a really, well if you approach canvas with the wrong tools the result is not going to be satisfying to anyone. So, first get to know the canvas. Really understand what works and what doesn’t. And I think you can really start just by consuming the content. Watching what is out there and made by others. And then formulate for yourself what you want to do, how you explore the medium. Well definitly augmented. First, because it really expands the tool set for the artists. And I think when they will understand what is accessible for them, what is available as a tool the really wide spectrum of use. I really can imagine ... well, the same theater radically changing with an AR technology when everybody in the room could wear AR glasses. And see, you know, augmented things in the scene. Creating different stories for each of the spectators becomes possible. And the collective result of their later discussion is also an interesting concept. Right now with VR it’s being made actually. Non-linear stories which end completely differently sparks very interesting discussions afterwards. I believe that, deep down each one of us really want to be, not just a passive spectator, but to really influence something or be a part of that act. So, this technology is really brings that so much closer.
