Corinne Linder Virtual reality – what is it So, VR meaning virtual reality is an alternative reality to the reality that we are in. And to add that reality we use headsets that blindfolds the viewer. And the VR, virtual reality, has two ways of being made. The first one is cinematographic. So, instead of having one camera we will have a minimum of six up to twelve, twenty-four to capture the place in 360 landscape. And so, the viewer is in the middle of the action and is able to look around. And is so to say immersed in a different reality. And then we have the animated part that is completely computer made. So, someone can program in a gaming engine, 360 experience. A virtual reality experience. The viewer has the same possibility to look all around and be immersed in this 360 degree landscape.
